God's Vault
In Genesis 1, our Lord reveals the separation between His Heavenly Kingdom and the world. 6" And God said, “Let there be a vault between the waters to separate water from water.” 7 So God made the vault and separated the water under the vault from the water above it. And it was so. 8 God called the vault “sky.” From verse 6, we know that God uses the word vault to signify a separation. In the first verse God talks about separation of bodies of water. Then, in verse 7, it says that God separated the water. There was separation between water under the vault and water above the vault. And then in verse 8, “God called the vault “sky.” Thus, God created the sky as a form of a vault (a separation) between His Heavenly Kingdom and that of the existence of the world. That’s why Jesus Christ came as a intercessor. If Jesus did not come to earth, no one would be able to approach God. It’s only by Jesus that we can get to God.
